Cauê is a man who studies and teaches the history of Latin America at UNILA (Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana) in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. He calls himself a latinoamericanista, so I asked him to tell a bit more about what this means. Although Cauê’s native language is Portuguese, he offered to speak Spanish, just to raise the probability of people actually understanding what he says! (One day I might make a resumé in English, but for now…Google Translate?)
